Noodler's Konrad Acrylic Fountain Pen - Victory Garden

Noodler's Ink is a small American company run by Nathan Tardif in Southern Massachusetts, USA. The name Noodler's comes from a technique of catching catfish by hand. Noodling involves wading into the water and feeling around for small crevasses and catching the catfish who have backed themselves inside by holding onto the outside edges of their open mouth.

Nathan says it is the ultimate battle between man and beast and your bank balance and social standing have no bearing on your ability. The catfish can be seen on all the ink bottles and packaging.

The Noodler's Himalayan Ruby Acrylic Piston Fill fountain pen with marbled red pearlised design. It is a piston filler with a stainless-steel flex nib and blind cap (piston cap needs to be removed to action the filler knob.)

The smooth stainless-steel flex nib in medium-fine width allows a wide range of writing variation with varying pressure- from around 0.7mm to 2mm. It has a closed length of 142mm, 156mm posted and its barrel (and nib) length is 132mm. It has a barrel diameter of 12.5mm with its section diameter 10.5cm. Its ink capacity is 1.1ml.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Does NOT have the distinctive Noodler's pen smell
- We suggest thoroughly flushing out the pen before use with luke warm water (possibly with a tiny drop of washing detergent, but not soapy) to remove any residual production process dust or lubricant oil from the nib feed to ensure a smooth ink flow
