Tombow Pencil Company Ltd was established in Japan in 1913 as a manufacturer of wood-cased lead and coloured pencils. To this day, they retain a modest yet efficient operation, which is reflected in their purposeful range.
Throughout their history they have been at the forefront of pioneering, with innovations such as the air pressure technology in their AirPress Pen. Undoubtedly though, their main successes include their ever-popular brush pens used for drawing and sketching- an un-bridled success with artists across the world.
