We have been using an Xtool F1 for our laser engraving for a little while and whilst we do predominately pens, we have learned some settings for things which may be of use to other F1 users through experience:
Apple Pencil - IR - 65% - 300sp - 2x
Leather - IR - 60% - 300sp - 1x
Slate (images) - IR - 100% - 800 dot / 450 dpi 1x
Stainless Steel - IR - 80% - 25sp - 1x
PU Leather (beware fumes) - BL - 30% - 300sp - 1x
Cork - BL - 60% - 300sp - 1x
Kraft card - BL - 60% - 300sp - 1x (engrave - brown colour)
- BL - 55% - 150sp - 1x (score - no colour change)
Faux Velvet - BL - 100% - 175sp - 3x
