'Lady Rhondda' is a bright, shading and lightly sheening purple ink which follows on from our Chartist range of inks but jumps forward in the journey to Universal Suffrage to around 1910 and the famous daughter of our hometown of Newport.
Margaret Haig Thomas, The Lady Rhondda, has an amazing life story which included being the director of 33 companies, becoming one of the the first female magistrates in the UK and often successful campaigns for equal pay, rights, voting and representation on government bodies and committees.
As with our Chartist inks, Lady Rhondda is made by Diamine for us and comes in a 30ml plastic bottle. Diamine were established in Liverpool, England in 1864, and they're one of the world's premier ink manufacturers. Since its inception, the company has continued to use the most traditional methods to ensure one of the highest of quality inks on the market. Given the quality of the ink, it is suitable for use in all brands of pen, both modern and vintage.
