Pen Cleaning & Maintenance Pack

This Pen Cleaning & Maintenance Pack is a must-have for any regular fountain pen user and contains everything you need to successfully clean and maintain your fountain pen.

The pack includes the following items:

1x 60ml bottle of Pure Pens fountain pen cleaner

Can be used neat or diluted to soak nib and pen parts to remove dried fountain pen inks. We recommend using the test tube so as to not contaminate the whole bottle.

1x 30ml bulb syringe

The best option for flushing out a nib with clean, cool water before soaking in the cleaning solution (and maybe negating the need to)

1x 5ml ink sample test tube

To be filled with cleaning solution/diluted solution to soak a nib to remove stubborn and dried ink inside

1x ink syringe

To be used to refill ink cartridges with ink (if needed) and also to draw out and more precisely dose the cleaning solution into the test tube

1x 3ml of silicone grease

To be used for lubricating piston mechanisms and also screw threads to ensure smooth use (can also be used to turn certain pen barrels into eye-dropper fill)

1x Micro Mesh Paper

Very fine grit glass paper to take rough edges of scratchy fountain pen nibs - use carefully and a little at a time with testing between revisiting for further smoothing.

1x Smart Grip

Grey non-slip grip mat for gripping and unscrew stubborn nibs, lids or screw in converters

1x Pipette

For removing cleaning solution from bottle to input into test tube

2x Brass Sheets

Used to floss nib tines open were they have got tight and are stopping good ink flow (to be used carefully due to sharp edges and risk of cutting yourself or scratching nib face)
