An iconic name in the art and writing industry, the company was initially founded in Stein, near Nuremberg by Casper Faber and his wife Maria and son Anton Wilhelm. The company remained a family business right through to seventh generation Count Roland von Faber-Castell who passed away in 1978.

The Colour Grip Pencil tin contains 36 water-soluble coloured pencils with an ergonomic triangular shape for tireless colouring. The softGRIP ensures a sure, non-slip grip. There are a variety of brilliant colours with a silky, smooth colour laydown; there is even a small space to write your name on the pencil so it won't get lost!
The colours can be washed out of most fabrics and are made from non-toxic, water-based, ecologically friendly barrel paint. The pencils feature a special patented lead to barrel bonding to prevent damage and the shattering of the lead if dropped. The quality tin keeps all of the pencils together and safe from damage.
