A MATERIAL AS UNIQUE AS THE OCEANS
At the heart of the Indian Ocean lies an exceptional acrylic material whose vibrant blue and golden yellow
composition creates remarkable depth and luminosity. Its flowing pattern evokes the movement of the sea,
while the individual composition of each piece ensures that every writing instrument has its own distinctive
character. No two patterns are exactly alike.
The material is finished with a brilliant polish that enhances its depth and allows the colours to interact
beautifully with the light. Depending on the individual colour composition and the way light moves across
the barrel, the piston mechanism may subtly reveal itself beneath the surface, like a hidden treasure
glimpsed beneath the sea. This delicate interplay of colour, transparency and light creates new details to

The Indian Ocean is equipped with an 18 carat gold nib, bringing the smooth and expressive writing experience associated with the Souverän M800. Its trim is finished with 24 carat gold plating, adding a warm and

Exclusive to this edition, the cap and filling knob each feature a special single ring with a refi ned satin
fi nished surface. Crafted with a brass base and finished with high quality 24 carat gold plating, these
distinctive rings add a subtle tactile and visual sophistication to the Souverän® silhouette.
