Kaweco Classic Sport Fountain Pen - Navy
The Navy Kaweco Classic Sport Fountain Pen is a great pocket-sized fountain pen famous for its unique octagonal design. It is the brand’s flagship model, made from a lightweight plastic material, while its iridium tipped steel nib from Bock allows for smooth everyday writing. The pen is compatible with ink cartridges or Kaweco converter for use with bottled ink. It measures 10.5cm in length capped or 13cm posted and weighs 20g.
The Kaweco Classic Sport comes presented in a cardboard sleeve, along with a small international standard ink cartridge in Royal Blue. Please note, it will not accept a standard length converter and a Kaweco mini Converter is needed. If you purchase a converter, be sure to remove the ink cartridge in the barrel before installing it.
Kaweco was established in 1883 by Mercents Carl Luce and Friedrich Enßlen, under the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik name. They began manufacturing dip pens, and a little later, also began importing fountain pens and gold nibs from Morton, New York. In the ensuing 125 years, the company continued to grow and today stand as one of Europe's premier fountain pen producers.
