Pure Pens Ink - Beddgelert

£6.25 GBP

The Pure Pens Ink range was first launched in February 2018. The idea behind the ink was to provide a high-quality series to customers, which was affordable, and also told a bit about the company in the process.

With Pure Pens a proud Welsh company, developing Celtic-themed inks seemed entirely befitting. Many of the inks tend to sit in between other ink producers' main colours, giving fountain pen fans another unique palette to add to their collection.

The Pure Pens Beddgelert Ink takes its name from the legendary tale of Prince Llywelyn's hound Gelert. Prince Llywelyn was the prince of Gwynedd in North Wales at the turn of the twelfth century, while Gelert is storied to have been a gift from King John of England.

An ultimately tragic story of man and best friend, the legend is cemented into Welsh heritage. Our Beddgelert ink seeks to reflect that heritage, with its chocolatey brown tones designed to resemble the colour of Gelert's fur.

The ink comes bottled in a retro-shaped 60ml bottle, which is hand-filled, hand-labelled and hand-sealed!
