The Lamy 2000 Black is one of the most iconic fountain pens ever made. Designed in 1966 by Gerd A. Müller and produced virtually unchanged ever since, it remains a benchmark of Bauhaus design — form following function in its purest form.
The body is crafted from Makrolon, a fibreglass-reinforced polycarbonate resin that gives the pen its distinctive brushed, matte texture. It's lightweight yet robust, with a seamless, minimalist silhouette that feels as modern today as it did six decades ago.
