300 of this numbered edition pen were made in March 2022 and we intend to make another 300 and no more after that - they are expected in October 2022.

You can sign up to be notified of it's arrival on this page.

March 1st is the feast day of St David, the patron saint of the country of Wales. Wales is our home country and today has been the celebration day for our nation since as far back as the 12th century, when St David was canonised.

Youngsters wear traditional Welsh dress to school and parades take place in Wales’ towns and cities as well as abroad in countries which have Welsh populations or Welsh ancestry.

Wales is a relatively small country of 3 million - with a proud population and a history of music and the arts. Our flag is also apparently the coolest flag in the world, according to the 'Ranker' website which allows people to rate just about anything!

So to celebrate our nation and our flag, we are announcing a new and exclusive pen which is available only from us from 1st March.

The Red Dragon or Y Ddraig Goch (in Welsh) is the latest Retro 51 Tornado Rollerball pen which boast their usual solid quality, smooth writing characteristics and striking design.

We know we’re biased, but we think this is a great looking design. The sleek black trim, matching black barrel and striking red Dragon design look great.

We only had 300 of these pens made initially, with each one individually numbered. If past releases like this are anything to go by, they won’t be around for very long! If you’re Welsh, have Welsh heritage and simply like the Dragon design (it is good luck in many countries) don’t spend too long thinking about it!

VAT and Currency

UK customers should see prices including UK VAT on each product page. It may take a few seconds to load the Inc. and Ex. Vat prices due to how our system has to be set to work for overseas customers too. If only one price is showing, it will be the EX Vat price and may be due your IP address displaying as overseas.

All prices are shown in British pounds (£) but you can select other currencies in the top right dropdown. You can pay in your own currency and you will know the exact price you'll pay on your card. You will probably still have to pay some form of import duty to your local tax authorities when your parcel arrives.

Delayed Deliveries

For deliveries in the UK, Royal Mail suggests 1-4 working days for parcels to arrive.
For deliveries in Europe, Royal Mail suggest 7-10 working days for parcels to arrive.
For deliveries to the Rest of the World, Royal Mail suggests up to 21 working days for parcels to arrive.

If you find that your order has taken longer than the suggested delivery time, before you contact us please ensure that you have checked with your local sorting office to see if they have your order. They will not always leave you a card to inform you that there is a parcel waiting for you, but you can generally call them and they can advise if your parcel if it is there.

In the case that your order has been returned back to us because it was left unclaimed or the delivery address was wrong or incomplete, it will be the customers' responsibility to pay for rescheduled delivery.
