The rereleased Diamond 580 fountain pen in White/Rose Gold has an aluminium connector and piston rod making this fountain pen more robust.

Comes with a smart, modern clear box and a little vial of silicone grease to lubricate the piston over time. There is an instruction sheet and small spanner to take the piston mechanism from the barrel to allow the lubricating. The nib, ink feed and grip section can also be taken apart for cleaning and maintenance - it is not advised unless necessary, but it can be done.
